One of the main design objectives of AIPVG is to motivate the viewers to change their behaviours (e.g., purchase products from an e-commerce platform, adopt an active and healthy lifestyle). Thus, generating videos that are persuasive is a major goal of AIPVG. Persuasion has been a subject of study in social sciences for decades (Andersen, 1971; Perloff, 1993).
